JILLIAN RILEY 

Jillian took her first yoga class 20 years ago as part of her training in a conservatory style program for film and theatre. While she loved the strength this practice brought to her body, she eventually learned the deepest nectar of this practice was in its benefits to her mental health. Having been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder in her early 20s, the tools yoga has offered have been unmatched by other forms of treatment. Ultimately, Jillian was compelled to pursue her teacher training to share this incredible practice with others. Don’t be fooled by her history with anxiety; Jillian approaches yoga with a jovial sense of humor. She loves a strong practice and has been humbled by her sense of joy in watching the practices of those in her community deepen. Outside of mindfulness and Asana, Jillian’s other loves include the world of wine and an epic gaggle of nephews and nieces.
