OUR INSTRUCTORS

Katie Holz

Katie came to yoga with a lifelong love of movement. A former collegiate gymnast, she was initially drawn to the physicality of the practice, but while working as a high school teacher, yoga became something much more important: a way to regulate her nervous system, reconnect with her body, and cultivate a healthier relationship between strength, movement, and mind.

Katie loves teaching creative, fluid classes that invite students to get curious about their bodies and discover what they are capable of. Her classes blend strength, mobility, balance, and playful movement, with an emphasis on making the practice both challenging and accessible. She believes yoga doesn’t have to look one particular way to be meaningful, and encourages students to explore, adapt, and find the version of the practice that works for their own body.

Above all, Katie hopes students leave class feeling a little stronger, a little more grounded, and more at home in their bodies than when they arrived.
